Examinations & Promotions

  1. The students who are absent from the examinations will in no case be re-examined.
  2. Absence from one or more subjects results in the loss of marks for these subjects and excludes the pupil from being reckoned in the order of merit or rank in the examinations.
  3. There will be three Unit tests which will be stretched throughout the year.
  4. No examination will be taken either before or after the scheduled time.
  5. Promotion is granted on the basis of the performance of the whole year as well as the percentage of attendance of the student. Result will be made as per the norms given below:
    Classes I to X
40% from the half Yearly Examination
    50% from the Final Examination
    10% from the Unit tests.

Thus promotion of the students depends upon the aggregate marks of the Unit tests. Half yearly & Final examinations as well as 80% of the attendance. A student who secures the prescribed percentage of marks but fails to obtain the prescribed percentage of attendance will not be promoted.

  6. A student who fails in two or more subjects will not be promoted.
  7. Result once declared at the end of the year is final in all cases and will not be reconsidered nor will the answer papers be shown.
  8. If any tampering with the report of the examination, forging signatures, changing marks and the like are observed the parents of those students will be asked to withdraw their wards immediately from the school.
